Antique 1919 Chatelaine mirror necklace set in silver, the mirror hangs from a long silver chain. A chatelaine is a decorative belt worn at the waist with a series of chains suspended from it. Each chain would hold a useful item such as a perfume bottle, mirror, scissors, watches or keys.
The piece has a number of hallmarks, indicating the piece was hallmarked in Chester, England in 1919 from sterling silver.
