In 1993 Audemars Piguet unveiled a chronograph version of their iconic Royal Oak. This was a big watch at 42mm and it took a while for the market to adjust with, as with most watch-related things, the Italians taking to the watch first!This example is in great condition with a blue petit tapisserie that has turned a beautiful purple colour – catch it just right in the summer sun and POW!! The watch had a full overhaul at Audemars Piguet in 2018 and comes with its original guarantee papers- stating a sale in 2000 , Germany.
